Youth Ministry

Our Mission

To provide direct supervision and leadership necessary to achieve the goals of the youth ministry of the local church interested in ministering to youth or children. Provide practical resources, training, and mentoring opportunities to youth, and creating a youth ministries presence in every church.

Providing youth with tools to interface with their social networks within and outside their church community, providing them with tools to appropriately challenge mainstream or divergent trends which are not in keeping with moral standards or Godly principles.

Our Youth Leader

Rev. Dr. Natoya Hylton

A servant leader who serves both the church and the community.

Rev. Dr. Natoya Hylton is an Ordained Minister with the church of God in Ontario and has been a member of Praise Cathedral Worship Centre COG for over 25 years.

She is a Registered Nurse who has worked for Ontario Health at Home, managing and coordinating healthcare services for 20 years. In this role she is a strong advocate for patients with chronic and complex health issues, helping them to navigate the healthcare system in order to optimize their health and achieve the best possible outcomes.

Rev. Dr. Hylton holds a Master of Divinity in Christian Education and Formation, from Tyndale Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry, from The College of Pastoral Supervision & Psychotherapy. She is also a Church of God Cleveland, TN, endorsed Clinical Chaplain.

Over the past couple decades Rev. Hylton served in various ministries at her home church, Praise Cathedral; Sunday School Teacher, Usher, Evangelism Team Member, Singles Ministry Board Member and for the past five years as Members Care Minister.

In her new role as the Youth Pastor at Hamilton Church of God Rev. Hylton is committed to revitalizing the Youth Department and aiding in the spiritual growth and development of HCOG youths.
